Seattle

After an all day Tuesday flight, spent night one at the new Hampton Inn at the airport. Fine meal at Dave's Dinner. Early Wednesday morning, we caught the “Light Rail” downtown where we spent two nights at the historic Roosevelt Hotel. The hotel, built in 1929, was at “Pike and Downtown” or central to everything. Spent the entire day with Jake on two walking tours. The first one was an in-depth visit to Pike Street Market...lots of samples and visits to places off the normal tourist route. Since we enjoyed this tour we also took Jake's Seattle 101 afternoon tour and put in a bunch more miles around Seattle (Jake is #1 on Trip Advisor attractions!) Since we really didn't eat lunch, we pigged out at Cheesecake Factory...unfortunately too full for cheesecake.
