Exploring Juneau Highways

For Tuesday, had the car most of the day so drove over to the adjoining town of Douglas to explore the remains of a former mining town, then up the mountain to take a look the local ski resort. Back over the bridge to Juneau and north to the “end of the road”. Had a picnic lunch at a state recreation area. Happy hour at the Wings Bar overlooking the waterfront. Dinner at “Twisted Fish”. Good but rather pricey Salmon. Both restaurants recommended by my cousin Steve Griffin. Thanks Steve.
