Mendenhall Glacier

Picked up a rental car and drove around the Juneau highway system which doesn't go far (land locked). Went out see Mendenhall Glacier. Very beautiful. We shared this experience with several thousand cruise ship visitors. Oh well.... After most buses left, we walked over to an area where salmon swim up stream to spawn. Spotted three bears and a porcupine in this area. One bear cub was munching on salmon.
