Lander Wy - Red Rock Canyon
After arriving at Sleeping Bear RV Park we unhooked the trailer and began the process of slowing down. Later in the afternoon we drove through Red Rock Canyon to explore. The car was covered in red dust upon return.
We normally avoid RV parks and head to state parks and natl forests, but this was convenient for a couple of days. We're camping on a hill with unobstructed view of 100 miles. But if you look down the hill you do see the roof of the ford dealership (oh well, pros/cons). Our nice neighbors here are about our age and travel half the year in a big rig, returning to Sarasota Fl in the winter.
They left home mid-April (and we think a month is long!)
